Seems to me just a bit excessive to get a year in jail for handing out leaflets, when muggers of the disabled get an ASBO! But then this is a rather infamous case, where no one has ever been charged with any crime, but criminal injuries compensation has been paid out to Hollie Creig, the alleged victim. So there is agreement that a crime has been committed, just no knowledge of what, if anything happen to her. Or was it just an attempt at hush money? Hollie and her mother were forced, they say, to move from the Aberdeen area to England. They say that they were continually being harassed by police.
It is said that people with Downs Syndrome cannot tell lies and that Hollie has stated that various sexual offences took place involving her. There are actors and actresses, with Down's Syndrome, who must now 'lie' in their acting. So is that position 100% true?? Her uncle was found in a burning car and although appeared to have suffered a beating, it was said that he committed suicide. I find that a bit weird, but there is no proof.
Indeed, as Greg Lance-Watkins says, there is no proof whatever of anything, only speculation, rumour and innuendo. Everybody who knows anything is keeping very quiet indeed.
